Advanced Dynamic Vehicle Messaging System
Optimizing Traffic via Dynamic Signalization
Advanced Dynamic Vehicle Messaging System (ADVMS) takes advantage of the latest computer vision algorithms and artificial neural networks to accurately comprehend the flow of traffic and utilizes an array of lasers to instruct drivers to take certain actions to optimize the traffic flow. Using a patent pending process, the system will be comprised of three parts - projection system, information manager, and control system.
How does it work? Raw video feed of roadways will be sent directly to an onsite processing hub to extract only relevant data. The feed is first passed through a mask to prioritize privacy and block out irrelevant information. Using computer vision techniques, we can determine the position, velocity, and acceleration of every vehicle on the road. This information is passed into our proprietary modular algorithms to classify how the vehicle is being driven. If improper driving is detected, an array of laser projectors will project messages or markings onto the road surface, within the drivers field of view to correct the actions of the driver. The message placement is optimized so that the message is clearly read and understood by the driver. Once the system classifies that the vehicle is being driven safely, the message fades away.
